Jadewood 7' Med Hvy Worm and Jig Rod

We all have a workhorse setup on the boat.  The one that sits in the sun all day long because we might use it when “it gets tough”.  Sometimes it is a specific lure, line type, reel or rod.  The 7‘ Med Heavy Jadewood Worm and Jig Rod (843WJ) is mine.  It is always on the deck with a variety of baits at the ready to be flipped, skipped or pitched to some bass home.  Prior to having this rod in my hands I was an “okay” close combat angler but this rod has honestly made me better at it.  It is so easy to cast to the specific locations we often seek out.  Such as the shady side of a log or the middle post on a dock.  I have fished texas rigs, weightless baits and of course jigs with this rod.  I have fished all types of cover and open water ledges.  This rod is my workhorse.  I may cast around looking for active fish but when I come across that spot that says “There has to one in there” I reach for the Jadewood Worm and Jig rod.  The rod is light but well balanced for the reel to be cupped in my hand.  The split grip handle is comfortable enough to pitch and flip all day with minimal fatigue in the wrist.  This rod allows me to quickly set the hook hard with it’s medium heavy action but I can use lighter line, if needed, due to the faster tip.
